Hi my names Jonny, I’m a self taught,

multi-disciplinary 3D Artist and Music Producer

living in the Peak District, UK.

I’m a 35 year old 3D creative generalist, whos' skills include (but not limited to) 3D modelling, animation, simulation, texturing, lighting, rigging, VFX, compositing, sound design, music production, editing, camera operation, drone operation, photoshop, photo & video editing, illustration, 2D animation, 3D digital sculpting, traditional art and possibly some more.

I've been creating since I can remember. When I was a kid I was always drawing. I grew up with a music loving family and a techy father who introduced me to games, movies and music from a young age and was lucky enough to be put in front of a computer from a young age. I made my first piece of music on Sony Acid Pro when I was 9 years old which I printed to CD. Around the same age, I also dabbled in creating my own 2D platformer in a mario style and also started skateboarding.

Then, in 2002, the Lord of the Rings came out on DVD (with my Dad being a LOTR fanatic, after having read the Hobbit to me as a little baba), I naturally was obsessed and after everyone fell asleep on a Friday night after the 3 hour movie, I stayed awake to watch the behind the scenes of the movie and it was there my real desire to work in the film industry (at Weta workshop or similar!) really ignited!

As I grew up and progressed through high school, getting to grips with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier and After Effects and I also started to film my own skate videos on my first mini DV handheld camcorder to which I edited, designed, printed and sold DVDs to my peers with my own custom artwork on the front in a DVD case. I passed high school with A*'s in Art and Graphic Design as some B's and C's in music and media.

After high school, I went on to do a Film Production BTEC National in College where I leaned the fundamentals and theory of film making and professional camera operation, scoring music for film, traditional and modern animation and things like pacing, mise-en-scen, composition, lighting, direction etc

Fast forward many moons later and I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the biggest brands around the world, such as Unilever, Charlotte Tilbury, Foot Asylum, Kawasaki, Lotus, P Louise, and more!

I’ve had my work displayed on huge billboards and OOH such as the iconic 3D curved screen at Piccadilly Circus in Central London and the hurculean curved immersive screen at Boulevard Point, Downtown Dubai next to the Burj Khalifa.

Whilst employed full time at P Louise since July 2024, I hit the ground running with every project, being the first 3D artist at the company, we made a huge impact on social media, going viral overnight, amassing millions of plays, thousands of shares across and months worth of watch time across TikTok and Instagram and Facebook which resulted in Millions of £ in revenue within a very short period of time.

And we did this repeatedly!

This led me to get a very nice raise on my salary and a hiring boom for the 3D team. We went from just 1 to 6 team members in ~12 months after the company saw the benefit and value that having a 3D artist in the company could add. That value being higher production value, better business image, more views, more engagement, more shares, more eyeballs on the company and products and overall, more sales!

Now, I have left P Louise and am back freelancing, currently working with Music Creative Agency 'Anti-Ordinary' where I've been working with massive artists like Blanke (EDM producer in Australia with 560,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and 250M combined streams globally), Alisha/Unlish (International DJ and Record Label Owner) and mega girl group FLO (5.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify and their Access All Areas 2024 Album peaking at #3 in the UK charts) where I have done giant animations for their performances on BBC Big Weekender and Alishas' Parklife gig this summer just gone.
